<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide light of color selectable by using a light source such as an LED. <P>SOLUTION: A current controller for a lighting assembly is disclosed. The lighting assembly can be an LED lighting assembly. The current controller can be a controller for a current subjected to pulse width modulation (PWM), or another type of current controller. Each unit with its current controlled therein can distinctively be addressed, and can receive illumination color information on a computer illumination network. One implementation form includes a binary tree network structure of an illumination unit (node). Another implementation form is provided with a heat dissipation housing made of a heat-conducting material for housing the lighting assembly. The heat dissipation housing includes two stacked circuit boards each holding a power module and an optical module.
