<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear actuator controller capable of improving control responsiveness and following performance of an actual fuel pressure with respect to a target fuel injection pressure. <P>SOLUTION: In a high lift zone of a suction metering valve 5, that is to say in a high DUTY zone (a high lift (DUTY) zone) of a driving base DUTY applied to a linear solenoid of the suction metering valve 5, as shown in a two-dimensional map, by largely providing at least one or more of feedback gains of a proportional gain, integral gain or derivative gain by comparison to an intermediate lift (DUTY) zone between the high lift (DUTY) zone and a low lift (DUTY) zone, the control responsiveness and following performance of the actual fuel pressure PC with respect to the target fuel injection pressure PFIN is improved, and dispersion of a deviation ΔP between the actual fuel pressure PC and the target fuel injection pressure PFIN is reduced.
