PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test apparatus capable of easily testing bio-related substances, in a short time and with high accuracy. SOLUTION: A genetic screening apparatus is provided with both a reaction stage 103 for supporting a reaction vessel 101 containing a DNA microarray and for accelerating reaction and a microscope 102 for optically observing the DNA microarray. The reaction stage 103 comprises both a base part 120 for placing the reaction vessel 101, to support it and a cover part 123 capable of opening and closing with respect to the base part 120. The reaction stage 103 comprises a syringe piston pump part 125 for transferring a fluid to the reaction container 101. The reaction stage 103 comprises a plate-shaped heater 105, embedded in both the base part 120 and the cover part 123 for adjusting the temperature of the DNA microarray 110a in the reaction vessel 101.
