PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substitute having an oil-resistant performance in the same level as that of a fluorine-based oil-proof agent. SOLUTION: This oil-resistant paper prepared by adding an oil-proof agent for forming a barrier layer against oil and fat components to the outside of a paper substrate, folding the treated paper substrate into two so that the oil-proof agent-added side is outer is characterized in that an oil-repelling degree measured by a kit method described in J-TAPPI No. 41 is the third grade or more on the agent-added side of the folded portion, when the paper substrate is folded with a roller having a width of 178 mm, a diameter of 100 mm and a weight of 12.5 kg.
