PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric automobile wherein the effective utilizing space of the car is wide, the weight of the whole of the car can be reduced, the center of gravity of the car element is low, stability and the riding feeling of the car are excellent, and load holding is also excellent. SOLUTION: In an electric automobile wherein electric energy stored in a battery is supplied to a rotary type electric motor and wheels are driven by the rotary type electric motor, a floor structure (1) consists of a side frames (2 and 2'), and a center frames (3 and 3'), and a plurality of batteries (B) are contained in the center frames (3 and 3'). Further, a front wheel and a rear wheel consist of two wheels mounted in succession in a longitudinal direction. The rotary type electric motor is attached to the wheel parts of the wheels situated in succession, and the rotary type electric motor and the floor structure are interconnected through a suspension device.
