PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting device of a combine harvester capable of leading into a rocking body a large-capacity sorting wind corresponding to the increase in grain amount, and maintaining a high level of sorting performance. SOLUTION: A winnower 35 for blowing the sorting wind is arranged on the front and lower side of a rocking body 51 of the sorting device B. The device is provided with a shutter 279 with which an upper suction port 8a of the winnower can be opened and closed a shutter 277 with which a lower suction port 8b of the winnower can be opend and closed, a connecting arm 276 fixed onto the shutter, and a turning arm 285 for fixing the shutter. An operating wire 258 connected to an operating arm 253 of a waste straw amount detection means 250 is connected to the connecting arm 276. When detecting a large amount of waste straws by the waste straw amount detection means 250, the connecting arm 276 is turned to rotate the shutter 279, thereby opening the upper suction port 8a. Furthermore, the turning arm 285 is turned to rotate the shutter 277, thereby opening the lower suction port 8b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
