PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an angle attitude of a rotating blade to be altered over axis of an operation tube without causing increase in weight and upsizing of the end of the operation tube. SOLUTION: This portable power brush cutter has an operation tube 10, a transmission shaft 40 inserted by this operation tube, and the rotating blade 31 supported by the end of the operation tube through a mounted rotating blade support element 30 provided at the end of the operation tube. The power brush cutter transmits rotation output of power source to the above-mentioned rotating blade 31 through the above-mentioned transmission shaft 40, and the brush cutter is structured to rotate this rotating blade. The rotating blade support element 30 includes an input shaft 32 with which leading front of the transmission shaft 40 is connected, and a rotating blade setting stem 33 which cooperated through this input shaft and bevel-wheel gear mechanism, and is supported by the above-mentioned operation tube 10 as rotation is carried out to circumference of a transverse stem 14 near the end of the operation tube 10. The support element 30 includes a manipulating means 60 for carrying out the turning operation of the rotating blade support element 30 to the circumference of the transverse stem 14.
