PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-developable photosensitive material excellent in preservability and having high maximum density, little fog, a good silver tone and considerable latitude to a variation of heat development conditions, and to provide an image recording method for the same. SOLUTION: In the heat-developable photosensitive material comprising an organic silver salt, a photosensitive silver halide and silver ion reducing agents on a support, at least one of the silver ion reducing agents is represented by formula (1).
