<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor and an information processing method to enable a variety of analysis and operation by generating a patent map in such a way that time-serial tendency of quantity change in each cell can be displayed to be instantaneously recognized. <P>SOLUTION: The patent map is displayed as obtained based on set analysis conditions at an upper part of a screen. In each cell in the map, the number of patents applicable to the conditions is indicated by a pie graph specifying a quantity, and tendency of increase or decrease based on result of time-series analysis is shown by an arrow mark. A database holds attribute information, all the text, and date information of each patent. The patent map is generated by time-series analysis using the date information for patents extracted as result of cross analysis based on the designated analysis conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
