<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for optimizing the arranging order of respective component cassettes in a component cassette group of a component mounter in order to realize a shortest mounting time. <P>SOLUTION: In the component mounter for mounting an electronic component on a printed wiring board, two mounting points selected randomly in one task group are switched if the total mounting time can be decreased by switching.
