<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that if a common light source is used for a liquid crystal display performing double-face display, both display screens emit light in the same color and this results in inferior designing property when light sources of various colors are required in consideration of matching of light with design/colors of the outer case. <P>SOLUTION: A wavelength selecting filter is disposed in at least one of the spaces between a back light and two liquid crystal panels so that light at selected wavelengths can be transmitted from the back light and the light in a color corresponding to the wavelengths can be emitted.
