PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pet robot charging system, which can suitably conserve the image data acquired by photographing a pet robot. SOLUTION: The image data acquired by photographing the pet robot are stored in a memory. When either a memory capacity is small or the battery capacity of the pet robot is small when the transmission of the photographed image is indicated, the pet robot is controlled to move to the charging system. When the pet robot arrives at the charging system (300-304), the image data are transmitted to the charging system (306), and when completion of the transmission of the image data is detected (308), the transmitted image data are eliminated according to user's selection (310, 312).
