PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stipulate interface specifications between a system layer and an application layer required for developing software for an entertainment robot. SOLUTION: The software is divided into parts (modularized) based on an object orientation, a plurality of objects having various functions are made to perform parallel operations, and the software is realized in a form that a processing is proceeded, while the objects mutually perform communication (inter-object communication). At this time, connection relations among the objects are described in a file controlled by a system. At the time of a starting, a communication path is secured and set in the system. A connection port for the inter-object communication is discriminated by a service name. As a result, independence as parts (modules) becomes high to be easily replaced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
