PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a highly reliable data reproducing function by improving error correction capability which uses error location information. SOLUTION: An HDC 6 accumulates error location information EP outputted from an EP circuit 103 in an EP buffer memory 62, while storing user data RD in data buffer memory 61 at read operation.
