PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound-absorption/thermal insulation member which has high durability, can give color matched to the surrounding environment without destroying surrounding environment, is hard to generate variations in a reduction effect of noise, has satisfactory shape unretainability, can hold the high reduction result of the noise for a long term and can be widely used for a building and an automobile, etc. SOLUTION: The sound-absorption/thermal insulation member is formed by tangling 3 to 30 denier of flame resistance fabrics such as vinilidene chloride-vinyl chloride copolymerization fabric, acrylonitrile-vinyl chloride copolymerization fabric, acrylonitrile-vinilidene chloride copolymerization fabric, 3 to 30 denier of polyester fabrics approximately equivalent to the flame resistance fabrics and 3 to 30 denier of polypropylene fabrics with a melting point lower than that of the flame resistance fabrics and coupling the flame resistance fabrics with the polyester fabrics by melting the polypropylene fabrics with low melting point.
