PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To normally drive a liquid crystal display by preventing reset terminals from malfunctioning. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display comprises: signal wiring 19 connecting the reset terminal 9 at a panel side to the reset terminal 14 at a chip side; an exposed section 20 located between a liquid crystal display panel 2 and an IC chip 5 for driving a liquid crystal; and a covering section 21 provided at the lower side of the IC chip 5 for driving the liquid crystal and formed longer than the exposed section 20.
