FLUFF FUEL BURNER TYPE MELTING FURNACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction in ignition loss by effectively burning fluff fuel for prevention of discharge and adhesion of unburned carbon or ash. SOLUTION: This fluff fuel burner type melting furnace comprises: a melting chamber 7 having a fluff burner 13 using fluff fuel on its upper portion and a slag discharge opening 9; a preheat chamber 5 communicated with the bottom of the melting chamber 7 through a communicating part 6; a secondary combustion chamber 11 provided above the preheat chamber 5 and formed with an exhaust gas opening 12; and an ash supply opening 4 for supplying ash to the preheat chamber 5 with an ash feeder 2. A fluff burner 13 is disposed so as to form a flame shaft on an axis O of the melting chamber 7. The melting chamber 7 is inclined at an angle of 10 to 35 degrees to the vertical line so that the lower portion may be positioned toward the preheat chamber 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
