PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new amide compound having a reinforcing activity such as a cholinergic activity, etc., and its medicinally permissible salts, a method for producing them and a medicinal composition containing them. SOLUTION: This new amide compound is expressed by formula 1 (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is an acyl; R<SP>2</SP>is a lower alkyl or the like; A is a single bond, a group expressed by formula 2 or SO<SB>2</SB>; E is a lower alkylene or the like; X is CH or N; Q is CH<SB>2</SB>or the like; R<SP>3</SP>, R<SP>4</SP>form a lower alkylene or the like by bonding each other) and includes its medicinally permissible salts.
