PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective method for growing hair on the body surface of a dog or cat. SOLUTION: The method for growing the hair on the body surface of the dog or cat is characterized by applying an aqueous hair-growing agent containing an effective amount of a hair-growing ingredient and causing a quartz crystal oscillator frequency reduction of≤1,000 hertz to the body surface of the dog or cat.
