CONDUCTIVE VANADATE GLASS AND MANUFACTURE METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive vanadate glass that is applicable under high corrosive circumstance such as acids, alkalis and the like while maintaining electroconductivity and chemical durability (corrosion resistance) with good balance and that is capable of precisely performing a design by suppressing the variation of properties due to its ingredient contnet and its composition and is capable of effectively recycling industrial wastes such as glassware, for example, glass bottles for drinks, and coal ash. SOLUTION: The conductive vanadate glass comprises a glass composition comprising 0.1-25 mol % of vanadium oxide, of which the electroconductivity at room temperature is 10-8-10-4S/cm and the amount of elution after the immersion in 20% hydrochloric acid for 72 hours is 35% by mass or less.
