PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cracking by relaxing stress applied to the closed end of a sipe, and to improve follow-up performance to external force to prevent partial wear by facilitating movement near the end part of the sipe. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire is provided with sipes 5, 6 at ribs 3 and blocks 4 which are land parts formed by circumferential grooves 1 and lateral grooves 2, and small holes 7 sized 1-5 times as large as the width of the sipes 5, 6 are provided near the closed ends 5a, 6a, which end inside the land parts, of the sipes 5, 6.
