PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water bottom tilling machine which can travel without sinking even on a water bottom surface where a soft precipitation material such as sludge is deposited, is excellent in mobility, and can do plowing work even when the bottom surface is muddy or under water. SOLUTION: This water bottom tilling machine (A) has a vehicle (2), a tilling device (3), float apparatuses (4 and 4a) for preventing the bottom tilling machine from sinking on the bottom surface, and a steering section (D). The vehicle (2) has two traveling rotors (23 and 24) having a plurality of slats (203) in the peripheral part with the axial directions of the rotary shafts made lateral. The rotational speed of the traveling rotors (23 and 24) can be adjusted, and the rotors can be rotated normally and reversely. The tilling device (3) has two plowing rotors (35) having tilling claws (301) in the peripheral part with the axial directions of the rotary shafts made lateral. The rotational speed of the plowing rotors (35) can be adjusted. The height of the steering section (D) can be adjusted along a guide prop (5). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
