Conducting contact elements, characterized by being produced by the curing and molding of a conductive silicone rubber composition comprising (A) 100 parts by weight of an organopolysiloxane represented by the average compositional formula (1): R<1>nSiO(4-n)/2 (1) (wherein R<1>s are each independently optionally substituted hydrocarbyl; and n is a positive number of 1.98 to 2.02) and having at least two aliphatic unsaturated groups, (B) 300 to 700 parts by weight of granular silver having a tap density of 2.0 g/cm<3> or below and a specific surface area of 0.7 m<2>/g or below, and (C) a curing agent for the component (A) in such an amount as to cure the component (A).
