In spectacles using a single metal material for the entire spectacles excluding some spectacles parts, such as lenses, engaging rods and nose pads, a hinge mechanism is proposed wherein the temple has a mechanism to turn with respect to the wraparound endpiece, and in a temple opened state and temple closed state, a play in the temple is eliminated to maintain a stabilized opened or closed state, with no screw used. For the purpose of this proposal, a spectacles hinge is provided wherein the temple and wraparound endpiece are both made of a linear metal material, the front end of the temple being annularly shaped to serve as a pivot shaft hole, which is fitted on a pivot shaft formed by bending the wire material that constitutes the wraparound endpiece, thereby allowing the temple to turn, and a temple open state holding section is formed, which extends from the pivot shaft of the wraparound endpiece along the temple, with the front end thereof bent to enter the inside of the temple, thereby preventing the temple from falling inward in its opened state.
|
