A likelihood calculating part (105) calculates the likelihood of a demodulated received packet. A combination deciding part (106) compares the likelihood with a threshold value (Th1). If the likelihood is greater than the threshold value (Th1), the combination deciding part (106) connects a switch (107). If the likelihood is equal to or less than the threshold value (Th1), the combination deciding part (106) outputs an NACK signal. A buffer (108) outputs its stored signal to a combining part (104). When receiving a new signal as an input signal via the switch (107), the buffer (108) stores the signal as overwriting. An error correction decoding part (109) performs an error correction decoding of the signal inputted via the switch (107). An error detecting part (110) performs an error detection (CRC decision) with respect to the output signal of the error correction decoding part (109). If detecting any error, the error detecting part (110) outputs an NACK signal. If detecting no error, the error detecting part (110) erases the signal stored in the buffer (108), connects a switch (111) and outputs an ACK signal. This can prevent the ARQ performance from degrading even when the radio line quality degrades.
|
