PURPOSE: A method for an electronic catalogue service using a commodity registration agent is provided to inquire and search commodity information through one electronic catalogue system and share commodity information among electronic catalogue systems constructed in various developing environment. CONSTITUTION: An electronic catalogue system(100) shares commodity list information being used in a commodity searching process and obtains commodity detailed information by utilizing information of an external system(for example, market places(110,120)) effectively. A commodity information interlock of a data unit is executed in the electronic catalogue system(100) in a company for sharing external market place commodity information using a commodity registration agent(101). The commodity registration agent(101) is interlocked with the commodity registration agent(101), registers/processes commodity information of an external system, and automatically reflects changed commodity information of the external system on the electronic catalogue system(100). Also, the commodity registration agent(101) registers/modifies/deletes commodity information of external systems constructed in different developing environments through a database connection as a unit of data, and accords the information.
