PURPOSE: A rotary north indicator installed on a road traffic sign plate is provided to prevent a traffic jam or a traffic accident by showing the safe way to the destination. CONSTITUTION: The rotary north indicator installed on a road traffic sign plate comprises: an upper plate and a lower plate; a hinge(12); a diamond north indicator(11) provided with many positioning holes(13) around the upper plate and the lower plate; a fitting body unified with the north indicator(11) and provided with a groove fixed with a spring and a ball; and a support(20) provided with a fitting hole, many positioning grooves(22) and a band(23).
