摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling a hybrid air-conditioning system of a direct coupled motor type vehicle are provided to improve power performance of the vehicle and prevent deterioration of cooling performance by selectively driving a mechanical air-conditioning system and an electric air-conditioning system depending on driving state of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus includes an air conditioner driving condition detecting part(210) detecting air conditioner driving condition of a vehicle; a memory part(220) storing data connected with driving of an air conditioner of the vehicle; an air conditioner control part(230) analyzing signal inputted through the air conditioner driving condition detecting part, comparing the analyzed signal with the data connected with driving of the air conditioner and stored in the memory part, and supplying corresponding air conditioner driving control signal; and a hybrid air conditioner system(240) driven depending on the air conditioner driving control signal supplied through the air conditioner control part to execute cooling of the vehicle.
