1277816 Permanent shuttering ROHERBOHM Ltd 3 Dec 1969 [20 Dec 1968] 59145/ 69 Heading E1B Permanent shuttering for reinforced concrete wall comprises a plurality of interlocking foamed polystyrene, polyurethane or urea formaldehyde polymer elements 10 each comprising spaced facing panels 11 and 12 having a plurality of projections 13, 14, 15 interconnected by embedded metal webs 40 which may be foraminous and defining a plurality of cavities 16. The webs may be moulded in situ with both faces or may comprise two interconnectable members one embedded in each panel. Horizontal reinforcing rods for the wall are located in grooves 24 and vertical reinforcements by members 30 having downward projections 31 to engage notches 32. The lowest course of units is positioned on a footing which has dowels extending into the cavities 16. Undercut grooves 35 provide keying for plaster. Two coatings of plaster followed by bitumen are applied to an exterior face for below ground use. |
