STACK STRUCTURE OF FUEL CELL USING B COMPOUND AS FUEL

PURPOSE: A stack structure of a fuel cell using a B compound as fuel is provided, to prevent the hindrance of fuel supply by the pressure increase due to the increase of hydrogen gas in stack in generation by allowing the gaseous hydrogen in BH4- aqueous solution to be absorbed into a bipolar plate. CONSTITUTION: The fuel cell supplies the B compound stored in a fuel tank to the anode(22) of stack, supplies the air to the cathode(23) of stack, and obtains the electromotive force from the chemical reaction of the B compound and the air, wherein the stack(10) comprises at least one layered cell comprising a membrane-electrode assembly(24) whose both ends are adhered to a bipolar plate(25) having a flow path groove(31). The bipolar plate is made of a hydrogen storage alloy for absorbing gaseous hydrogen. Preferably the B compound is BH4- in aqueous solution state.
