PURPOSE: A monitor with a video input signal parallel processing device is provided to realize a clear picture without loss and distortion of video signals by discriminating video input signals of a monitor and deciding a video processing circuit according to types of the video signals. CONSTITUTION: A vertical synchronous circuit(5) and a vertical deflecting circuit(6) coincide an inputted vertical synchronous signal with frequency of a self-vertical oscillating circuit for synchronizing a vertical image. A horizontal synchronous circuit(7) and a horizontal deflecting/high pressure output circuit coincide an inputted horizontal synchronous signal with frequency of a horizontal oscillating circuit for synchronizing a horizontal image. A video amplifying circuit(3) sufficiently amplifies the inputted video signal to be displayed on a braun tube. A video signal parallel processing circuit(2) receives RGB and composite video signals for processing RGB signals to be amplified at the video amplifying circuit. A synchronization dividing circuit(4) extracts and divides synchronous signals included in the video signal from the composite video signal.
