METHOD FOR FILLING CRACKS ON INNER PART OF BLAST FURNACE TAP HOLE

PURPOSE: A method for filling cracks on an inner part of blast furnace tap hole is provided to consistently maintain stabilization of tapping operation during high pulverized coal injection and blast furnace last stage operation by filling a crack part and reinforcing adhesive property of the crack part when cracks are formed on the tap hole. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of performing tap hole opening operation by rotating a tap hole opener according to instructions for opening blast furnace tap hole; judging whether length of tap hole is less than a standard value if the discharge state of melt is abnormal, or there is gas emission; judging whether there was gas emission even during previous tapping if length of the tap hole is less than a standard value; immediately closing the tap hole and opening the tap hole as much as a point corresponding to 2,000 to 3,000 mm inside the tap hole after a predetermined time by judging that cracks are generated on the inner part of the blast furnace tap hole if there was gas emission even during previous tapping; mounting a soft mud material having high strength and good adhesive property on a mud gun that is a device for pushing the mud material into the crack part to fill the mud material in a crack part; and filling the crack part and reinforcing adhesive property of the crack part by pushing a predetermined quantity of the mud material into the inside and the crack part of the tap hole at a high pressure.
