ISOLATED DC/DC POWER CONVERTER AND UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An isolated DC/DC power converter and an uninterruptible power supply using the same are provided to perform a switching operation of a switching element at the zero current by using the leakage inductance of a transformer and a serial resonance phenomenon of a capacitor. CONSTITUTION: An isolated DC/DC power converter includes an inductor(L1), a first switch(Q1), a diode(D1), a capacitor(C1), a transformer(Tr), a second switch(T1), a third switch(T2), and a rectification circuit. The inductor(L1) and the first switch(Q1) are serially connected between both terminals of a power input portion. The diode(D1) and the capacitor(C1) are serially connected between both terminals of the first switch(Q1). A center tap of the primary side of the transformer(Tr) is connected to one terminal of the capacitor(C1). The second and the third switches are connected between one side tap of the primary side of the transformer(Tr) and the other terminal of the capacitor(C1). The rectification circuit is connected to an output terminal of the secondary side of the transformer(Tr).
