MAINTENANCE DEVICE OF INK JET PRINTER HAVING WIPER CLEANER CLEANING SECTION

PURPOSE: A maintenance device of an ink jet printer having a wiper cleaner cleaning section is provided to improve a printing quality by automatically cleaning a wiper cleaner using a carrier. CONSTITUTION: A maintenance device(200) of an ink jet printer includes a housing(5) coupled to a main frame, a capping member(10) installed in the housing(5), and a wiping member(20) provided in the housing(5). The capping member(10) has two caps(16) for sealing a surface of an ink injection nozzle(3). The wiping member(20) has two wipers(24). A power transmission section(30) is provided to transfer rotating force by means of a reversible motor(32). A pair of capping member moving sections(14,40) is provided to transfer rotational force of the power transmission section(30) to the capping member(10). A wiper cleaner(60) is installed in the housing(5) so as to clean the wipers(24). A wiper cleaner cleaning section(100) is provided to clean the wiper cleaner(60).
