PURPOSE: Provided are jade-rice and an apparatus and method for manufacturing the same. Therefore, the manufactured jade-rice has jade effects, such as emitting of far-infrared rays and anion. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing functional jade-rice comprises the steps of: transferring polished rice through a screw with introducing jade; holding the transferred jade in a jade treating chamber to transfer far-infrared rays and anion to the rice; and discharging the jade and rice and separating the rice from the jade with a filter.
