PURPOSE: To provide a laminated type piezoelectric transformer wherein the continuity of its electrodes after baking is not reduced, and the reduction of the strength of its piezoelectric-ceramic layer is prevented, and further, a variation in its characteristics is suppressed. CONSTITUTION: A driving portion A wherein a plurality of polarized piezoelectric-ceramic layers 1 and a plurality of inner electrodes 3 are laminated alternately is provided. A pair of input external electrodes 2 connected with the inner electrodes 3 is provided in the driving portion A. A power generating portion B having a piezoelectric ceramics 5 and a pair of output electrodes 4 is provided adjacently to the driving portion A. Each inner electrode 3 is a baked inner electrode which contains a first metal consisting of at least one of silver and palladium, and contains a second metal consisting of at least one of rhodium and iridium.
