PURPOSE: A large-scaled display system using an LCD panel, pixel size and light transmission path is provided to realize a large-scaled display system having relatively low light loss and a small volume, wherein boundary surfaces are not shown as if a plurality of LCD are used. CONSTITUTION: A large-scaled display system using an LCD panel, pixel size and light transmission path includes at least an LCD panel(11) having a backlight(10) and serving as a light source, a light transmitting unit(12), and at least a light guide panel(13). The light transmission unit has light receiving parts(12a) corresponding to the size and numbers of pixels of the LCD panel and light transmitting paths(12b) to transmit the light emitted from the surface of the LCD panel to the light guide panel. The light guide panel forms a display surface by the transmitted light. The brightness of the light guide panel becomes different locally according to the distance of the light transmitting paths. |
