SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING NON-NATIVE XML IN NATIVE XML OF WORD-PROCESSOR DOCUMENT

PURPOSE: A system and a method for supporting non-native XML(eXtensible Markup Language) in native XML of a word-processor document are provided to effectively validate a mixed XML document including the non-native and native XML by performing validation after separation even if elements of each schema are overlapped to the element of other schema. CONSTITUTION: It is judged that the element of the XML document is associated with one of the non-native XML and the native XML(602). A parallel tree including the nodes respectively corresponding to the element of the XML document associated with the non-native XML(605). The element associated with the native XML of the XML document is validated by ignoring the elements associated with the XML. To make the element associated with the native XML transparent when the non-native XML is validated, the validation is preformed by separating the parallel tree from the XML document.
