VARIABLE ARM DEVICE FOR TRANSFERRING ROD MATERIAL

PURPOSE: A variable arm device for transferring rod material is provided to prevent escaping of rod material from a lifting arm and V-roller. CONSTITUTION: A rotation supporting portion(S,S') is formed at the end of a fixing beam of a feed transfer. A shaft(4) of a rod shape is supported by bearings(7,8) on upper part of the rotation supporting portion. A rotation arm portion(A) is fixed to the shaft and arranged in upper side of a lifting arm and a V-roller. A driving motor(43) is connected to one end of the shaft. Adjacent sensors(44,45) are installed in both sides of the fixing beam to sense passing rod material.
