PURPOSE: A system and method for controlling an NAS(Network Access System) is provided to control a NAS automatically. CONSTITUTION: A system(100) for controlling an NAS(300) comprises a NAS information database(30), a command identification part(10), a resource selection part(20), a NAS control part(40), and a process pool(50). The NAS information database(30) stores the system information and resource information of the NAS(300). The command identification part(10) receives an ADSL subscription processing request from an upper system(200) and identifies processing procedures. The resource selection part(20) searches for the system information and resource information of the NAS(300) using the subscription information transmitted from the command identification part(10). The NAS control part(40) accesses the NAS(300) and executes subscription processing using the information transmitted from the resource selection part(20). The process pool(50) puts requested subscription orders on standby in order to sequentially process the subscription requests transferred from the upper system(200).
