HOLDING CLIP FOR FIXING POSITION OF GETTERS TO CONTAINER WITH RANDOM GEOMETRICAL CROSS SECTION IN VACUUM SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus for fastening and fixing the position of getters is provided to obtain simple fixing of the position and fastening of the getter in a container for forming a vacuum system. CONSTITUTION: A holding clip(1) for fixing the position of components(16) which carry getters and are arranged at least partly as hollow bodies in containers(18,19) of random geometrical cross section for use in vacuum systems includes a partial section supporting the component carrying the getter and a partial section(2) forming a supporting part(4) for support in the container. The partial section(2) for supporting the component carrying the getter is connected with the supporting part(4) by way of a rigid connection. The partial section supporting the component carrying the getter and the supporting part(4) is provided with a spring-elastic arrangement, so that the component carrying the getter is braced relative to the partial section supporting the component carrying the getter and the supporting part can be braced relative to the inner surface of the container by elastic deformation.
