Quick-acting connection for joining two pipe ends

A rapid connection for two pipe ends (10,20) comprises spring arms (33) with a primary outer locating projection (14) at the first pipe, and an elastically deformable ring (31), and two inner locating members (34) that interact with the outer projection. A secondary outer projection (23) at the second pipe end also has an elastically deformable ring (32), and an associated inner locating member (35). The spring arms form a double connection element and are made of plastic, e.g. glass, carbon or aramide fibre reinforced polyamide. The pipe ends are rotationally symmetrically formed.
