PURPOSE: A POFR(Power On/Off Reset) circuit is provided to be capable of preventing the glitch of supply voltage and reducing probability of unpredicted reset signal due to unstable voltage drop. CONSTITUTION: A POFR circuit is provided with a power supply circuit(210) for supplying supply voltage, a charging circuit(220) for carrying out a charging process after receiving supply voltage supplied from the power supply circuit, a current delay circuit(230) for delaying the flow of current, and a discharging circuit(240) for controlling the discharge of the charging circuit by flowing current through the current delay circuit when detecting the elimination of the supply voltage. The POFR circuit further includes an inverter(250) for inverting the voltage level inputted from the charging circuit and an inverter chain(260) for generating a reset signal by sequentially inverting the signal inputted from the inverter.
