PURPOSE: A protector for an electric pole and a fastening device for a protector are provided to minimize the damage of an electric pole and an impact body. CONSTITUTION: The protector(10) for an electric pole is manufactured by waste rubber such as elastic waste tires and composed of C-shaped fasteners(12,14) having many holes to place a fastening device. The fastening device for a protector comprises: a fixed member(22) fixed to the hole of the fastener(12) of the protector(10) and provided with a projection(22a) interposed to the hole of the fastener(12), a hexagonal bolt and a pinion gear formed on an extension part of the hexagonal bolt; and a movable member(24) installed to the hole of the other fastener(14) and provided with a rack gear coupled with the pinion gear.
