PURPOSE: An apparatus for managing DBs(DataBases) in a network management system for B2B(Business To Business) is provided to periodically check an error generated at a network management information database and to rapidly recover an error when it is detected. CONSTITUTION: A DB fault processing system(300) comprises a general processing part, an error information database(320), and a network management information database(330). The general processing part includes an activation timer(302), an error detection device(304), and a follow-up processing device(306). The activation timer(302) activates the error detection device(304) periodically. The error detection device(304), activated by the activation timer(302), performs error detection for a local DB. The follow-up processing device(306) stores relations with another communication service provider and solution methods when a doubled fault is generated. The error information database(320) contains an error-generated time information table(322), an error-possible information table(324), and an error recovery method table(326). The network management information database(330) comprises a DB physical information dictionary(332) and various network management information tables(334).
