PURPOSE: A locking device of a rear seat for a vehicle is provided to prevent a seat back from being excessively deformed and the rear seat or goods from entering into the room of the vehicle and to safely protect a passenger by locking the rear seat to a vehicle body and easily rotating and folding the rear seat as occasion demands. CONSTITUTION: A locking device of a rear seat for a vehicle comprises a stopper(20) combined to a vehicle body(10) corresponding to the lower part of a side of a seat back(34); a first hook part(40) fixed to the lower part of a side of the seat back; and a second hook part(48) fixed to the rear end part of a seat cushion(44). The stopper forms a protruded flange at one end. The first hook part forms a fitting hole one side of which is bent along a circular arc of the seat back, to be stably fixed to or released from the stopper. One side of the second hook part is rotatably hinged to the first hook part and the seat back is turned from the seat cushion. The second hook part forms a fitting hole the lower side of which is bent along a circular arc of the seat cushion, to be stably fixed to or released from the stopper.
