The hydro-elastic articulation, intended to isolate two elements, comprises an exterior casing, a central tubular core (6), an intermediate articulation, two fastening elements each comprising an interior socket (82,82'), an external collar (81,81') and a washer shaped elastomer membrane (83,83') connecting the sockets to the collars. Two chambers (91,91') communicating through a channel (92) are filled with liquid. The casing is partially closed at each of its ends by an interior flange (51,51') extending in the direction of the core but not reaching it. The flange covers a large part of the membrane from its periphery with a slight play so as to allow an axial displacement of the membrane and allow decoupling of the mechanical and hydraulic damping functions. An Independent claim is included for an automobile axle connected to the bodywork by a hydro-elastic articulation. |
