A process for producing a molding with a number of skin sections comprises positioning two skins (1,2) in a joining tool to form a seam. The molding has at least one foam layer and a carrier layer. Each seam has a projection (21) with a deflection (23) locating into an opposing hollow (22) and deflection (24), in negative and positive forms. The seam sections have foam or a polymer on one side, and the foam or polymer only partially penetrate the space between the positive and negative form sections. The skin is formed by the Slush process, and at least one skin is sprayed. The intermediate space is in the form of a labyrinth. |
