SAFETY FOOTING SYSTEM OF SUBWAY

PURPOSE: A safety footing system is provided to prevent dangerous accident caused by gap between the platform and the train. CONSTITUTION: A safety footing system of a subway is composed of a safety footing(30), a footing driving member(40), a driving motor(42), and a control member(44). A support is installed to support the safety footing. The safety footing moves back and forth toward the platform at the lower side of the subway door. The footing driving member operates the safety footing by receiving driving force from the driving motor. A position detecting sensor(32) is mounted at the front of the safety footing to measure the distance between the platform and the subway. The control member operates the safety footing by detecting distance between the platform and the train.
