PURPOSE: A mattress and bed assembly is provided, which induces a fast sleep and provides a comfortable and restful sleep by causing a light vibration to an occupant of a bed. CONSTITUTION: A mattress and bed assembly comprises: a vibrating plate and/or a mattress for distributing a vibration throughout a bed and/or warming the bed; vibrators for variably applying a physical vibration of about 10 to about 500 DB and a frequency of about 0.5 to about 50 Hz to the bed for an adjustable period of time, the vibrators being selectively used to vibrate bed portions corresponding to upper and lower regions and head of an occupant's body.
